Hi, I’m David, and thanks for considering me to be your photographer. I know choosing a photographer for any event, and in particular a wedding, is an important decision so I want you to know a little about me and my photography style…

I started my journey many years ago studying photography, this gave me a great appreciation for how pictures are made and how every picture tells its own story. I started out taking pictures for local bands at gigs with some cover and studio photography mixed in for good measure… I was that guy you remember from college, skateboard in one hand and camera in the other.

Fast forward a few years, I left the skateboarding to the cooler kids and moved from photography into TV and Film where I worked in technical special effects for movies including Mission Impossible and Star Wars. I’ve also always loved to travel and explore so my camera has never been far away. I never thought when I was that kid taking cool pictures of bands that some day it would be my job and I love it! I’m now a dad of two, although I’m still not as cool or as good at skateboarding as I’d like, I still love all things travel, music and photography. Getting to work with one of my passions is amazing, I never tire of turning up early morning on a clients wedding day and having the privilege of watching special memories unfold before me. I’ve realise no two weddings are the same, no two couples are the same, and no two days are the same - I’m always ready to draw on my experience and apply it to a brand new special wedding day.

My style isn’t always traditional and I like to do things a little differently when we have the chance - my photos will tell the story of your day, whatever that looks like. Simply put, I’ll take stunning images without you having to think about it, capturing the vibe of the day and the people you share it with.
